Wedding Guide: Floral Inspiration

March 31, 2017

I’ve had the idea for this post for a while now, probably because we are *this* close to spring really getting into full swing which of course means I have flowers on the brain! Flowers are one of my favorite parts of a wedding day, and I thought it would be fun to put some of my favorite flowers all in one place for any of you looking for some inspiration for your wedding day! Flower styles and trends go in and out every year, just like wedding or bridesmaids dress styles, or ring types so here are a few trends that I think are going to continue or grow this year!

1. Soft Whites, Creams
I seriously love this flower style. It’s so classic and elegant and you know that it’s going to look in style 20 years from now.

2. Bring on the Purple
I started seeing this one a lot more last year, and I’m in LOVE! It’s so striking, especially with a white dress, and it works with a wedding in any season.

3. The Rise of the Succulents
Who doesn’t love succulents these days? I currently have at 3 of these guys in my house because they are the coolest looking little plants! They come in the coolest colors from lime green to blue, to purple, and they’re all different shapes and sizes. They also make the cutest little wedding favors!

4. “Gathered” Florals
I’m no florist so I have no idea if that’s the right term but that’s what I’m calling these “unstructured” bits of happiness. I love that it looks like you went out into the most gorgeous field of wildflowers and put together something amazing. It looks effortless and every single one is SO unique.

5. It’s all about Pink
Pink and weddings will always go together. It’s soft and feminine, combine it with gold and you have a match made in heaven. Plus, nothing smells better then a bouquet with giant pink peonies or roses!
